Central to Sciantec’s analytical service is a robust and extensive internal quality system.

The laboratory holds United Kingdom Accreditation Scheme (UKAS) accreditation EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005, for a range of chemical tests for testing in the animal nutrition sector.

Sciantec is regularly audited by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) as a nominated analytical laboratory for manufacturers of Animal Health Products who require Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance.

Sciantec Analytical Services Ltd is approved by DEFRA for the testing of animal by products under the Animal By-Products Regulations 2003.

Sciantec also participates in a number of external proficiency schemes.
